Inspired by the fierce street dog who becomes tamed and friendly, this sleek designed table lamp brings your best friend on the table. Equipped with an On/Off switch and a 3-stepdimmer located in the head, the ‘Dog Lamp‘ will glow with a lively light when touched. The head can be adjusted up and down. The body is made of plastic while the head is anodized aluminum.
Dog Lamp is the original Thai design to receive the Good Design 2007 Award in the category of Household Product from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design. It is now displayed in the museum’s permanent design collection.
The museum’s historic GOOD DESIGN program was founded in Chicago in 1950 by Edgar J. Kaufmann, Jr. with the participation of some of America’s most important designers: Eero Saarinen, Charls and Ray Eames, Alexander Girard, George Nelson, Florence Knoll, Harry Bertoia, Finn Juhl, and Russel Wright- the pioneering greats of American and modern design.
